September 24, 20U J2S,pntmt, hetstOM J^ontreat Coffee s Stuefent ^oicc Students, staff and faculty all joined together last Tuesday, September 20 to pick up trash, clean up the creek, chop wood and perform other service projects on Montreat College and Black Mountain campuses, as well as in the town of Montreat. As a result, trash on the walkways and lawns, and in the creeks, has been cleaned up, sticks and leaves have been cleared and Howerton’s fireplace Is well-stocked for chilly evening study and movie nights. The service projects lasted from 12:30-3:30 p.m. and were followed by contra dancing in the Barn, with students and some staff and faculty members (Including the Strubles) join ing in on the fun. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares I the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." -► Isaiah 55: 8-9 on page 5...
